The CDCC presented the finest Moravian wines at the Embassy Festival in The Hague

On 2 September 2017, a wave of global culture swept through The Hague during the fifth annual Embassy Festival. The Czech Republic stand was jointly represented by the Czech Tourism agency, CzechTrade, the Czech Centre and the Czech Dutch Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) with the support of the Czech Embassy in the Hague.

Throughout the day, the visitors of the Embassy Festival could explore international music, cuisine and culture in a varied programme and stands from numerous countries from around the world.

Visitors of the Czech stand had an opportunity to learn more about the country, taste Czech traditional cuisine and a selection of delicious Moravian wines produced by several reputable winemakers gathered in the V8 Alliance, a member of the CDCC.

To emphasize a spirit of the Czech culture and traditions, the representatives of the CDCC and Czech Trade were wearing folk costume from south east of Moravia, one of the country wine regions.

The Embassy Festival is organised in close co-operation with the Municipality of The Hague’s Department of International Affairs and the city’s many embassies, spotlighting the different cultures that reside in the Dutch administrative capital.
