In this privacy statement, the Czech-Slovak Dutch Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) explains which personal data the CDCC collects, how the data are used and for what purpose.

We provide membership services to our member companies, the employees within that company as agreed by the member company in question, and individuals. As a result, we must have limited personal data in order to be able to provide our services. The CDCC finds it important to handle your personal data with care. Your personal data are therefore properly processed and secured. The CDCC adheres to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal data processed by the CDCC

The CDCC processes your personal data when you use our services and/or because you have provided us with your personal data. Below is an overview of the main types of personal data processed by the CDCC:

First and last name
Professional affiliation
(Company) address
Phone number
(Work) e-mail address

The above data are primarily linked to your company’s or your individual membership profile. The CDCC does not record matters such as religion, race, health, sexual orientation and the like.

GDPR statement

The General Data Protection Regulation imposes requirements on companies that collect or store personal data of residents of the European Union. At the CDCC, we understand the importance of your personal data and we take steps to protect the data when stored in the cloud or other infrastructure. We have adopted a number of measures to ensure that members/relations of the CDCC and their data are treated in a manner that is consistent with privacy principles.

Sharing personal data with third parties

The CDCC will not sell or provide your information to third parties and will only provide this information to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. The CDCC remains responsible for these processing operations.

Photography and video

During CDCC’s events, the CDCC staff or a professional photographer may take photos or record video footage to document the event. These photos and video materials can be published on the CDCC website and social media channels, in the CDCC Newsletter or in the CDCC presentations (digital or printed) to report on or to promote our activities. If you want your image removed or if you do not want to be photographed or filmed, you can contact the CDCC at any given time.
