On October 18, 2016 at the residence of Czech Ambassador, Ms. Jana Reinišová in The Hague, “B2B Seminar of Czech ICT companies” was held as the result of the project of economic diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The cultural part of the event – a concert of young Czech pianists was sponsored by one of the participants in the project – the company Unicorn Systems. The project was organized in cooperation with Czech ICT Alliance and Czech Trade.
Following top Czech ICT companies shared their presentations with the Dutch guests – Unicorn Systems, Profinit, Komix, Flowmon Networks, Billigence and AgentBalance, which was represented by a local partner – the company SmartCenter. On the Dutch side there were representatives of the NN Group, tax-advising firm Taxperience, our honorary consul and businessman, owner of several companies, Mr. Albert-Jan Postma and other managers or owners of small and medium enterprises. The Dutch government was represented by the employees of the agency RVO of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Defence. After brief presentations of Czech companies, there was “B2B” part – meetings and discussions between representatives of Czech and Dutch companies, followed by a piano concert and an informal reception. There were 40 participants in total.
“We are very pleased about the interest of Dutch partners into the Czech ICT companies and also about the fact that some of them already have their Dutch customers. We are aware of the rather difficult current situation of the Dutch financial sector, but we believe that specially the Czech companies can help their Dutch partners towards greater digitalization and efficiency “, said in her opening speech Ambassador of the Czech Republic in the Netherlands, Ms. Jana Reinišová.
