The Czech Dutch-Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) has expanded its scope and it now serves and supports also Slovak businesses in the Netherlands. Given the broadened range of activities, the Chamber was renamed the Czech-Slovak Dutch Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber will offer membership, its services and support to Slovak companies, entrepreneurs and individuals who are already active in the Netherlands or want to develop their activities in the country.

The expansion had been officially announced during the 2020 reception hosted jointly by the CDCC and the Slovak Embassy in The Hague on 20 February 2020. During the event H.E. Juraj Macháč, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic warmly welcomed the expansion of the CDCC and expressed a strong interest in continuing close cooperation between the Slovak Embassy and the Chamber.  H.E. Kateřina Sequensová, Ambassador of the Czech Republic expressed her appreciation of activities of the Chamber and wished it a lot of success as a Czech-Slovak organization moving forward.

“Recently, we have seen an increased interest from Slovak companies and individuals in the Netherlands to connect with us and a growing demand for business support that we could offer. As such, we see this as a natural step forward and we trust that we can become instrumental in developing Slovak business in the Netherlands,” said Vladimíra van Aarle, Chairwoman, CDCC.

“A couple of years ago, we started to cooperate with the Slovak Embassy in The Hague and since then we hosted several very successful events. The Czechs and Slovaks have a lot in common, including a similar language, history and cultural background. At the Chamber, we want to connect people, help them develop their potential and succeed in what they do,” added Kateřina Velíšková Executive Director, CDCC.

The mission of the CDCC is to become a key partner for companies, entrepreneurs and professionals with Czech and Slovak roots supporting and promoting their business growth in the Netherlands, as well as for Dutch businesses with growth ambitions in Central Europe. The CDCC also strives to contribute to a positive image of the Czech and Slovak Republics and position them as developed and attractive markets and business partners for Dutch businesses.
