The Czech-Dutch Action Agenda for the Industry has been created

On 21 May 2021, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Czech Republic Kees Klompenhouwer met the Vice Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Karel Havlíček to propose to him an Action Agenda for Smart Industry cooperation.

The Action Agenda was inspired by two high level round tables on Effective Innovation Policy taking place in 2019, under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Havlíček, to explore opportunities for bilateral cooperation to support the Czech Innovation Strategy. More than 60 experts and stakeholders on both sides were involved in discussions.

The Czech-Dutch cooperation, leveraging a number of innovative technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, blockchain and 5G, focusses on three main areas:

  • Smart and green transportation and mobility solutions
  • Modernizing, integrating, and extending Europe’s industrial powerhouse
  • Developing the next generation of high-tech equipment.

As Vice Prime Minister Havlíček shared on his Twitter account, the joint strategy Czech-Dutch Action Agenda for the Industry 2021-23 has been created with a great support of the Dutch Ambassador Kees Klompenhouwer, a tireless promoter of innovations and a great supporter of our vision: Czech Republic: the country for the future.
